Body measurements are more accurate if your child is standing with arms down and shoulders relaxed.

How to measure the height of the torso
Measure starting at the front of the body from the base of the neck, level with the child's shoulder, down to the crotch and returning up to the base of the neck at the back.

How to measure the chest
Measure, starting from the child's armpit, passing the tape across the chest and around the body.
